• Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and Bashar Assad discussed developments in Syria and the Middle East

DUBAI: Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed received a phone call on Wednesday from Syrian President Bashar Assad, UAE’s state news agency WAM reported.
Sheikh Mohammed and Asssad discussed relations between their two countries and ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields.
They also spoke about developments in Syria and the Middle East, in addition to several issues of common interest, the statement added.
