RIYADH: The Arab coalition intercepted and destroyed a Houthi booby-trapped drone launched toward the Kingdom’s southern region on Saturday.
The attempted attack comes after ten people were injured on Friday during a drone attack by the Iran-backed Houthi militia on the King Abdulaziz Airport in Jazan.
Two drones were shot down and falling debris caused minor injuries to passengers and airport personnel, the coalition said.
Six Saudi passengers, three Bangladeshi workers and a Sudanese worker were injured in the incident.
