RIYADH: Saudi Arabia announced three deaths from COVID-19 and 42 new infections on Saturday.
Of the new cases, 10 were recorded in Riyadh, seven in Jeddah, three in Taif, two in Madinah, two in Makkah, two in Najran, and two in Dammam. Several other cities reported one new case each.
The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 536,281 after 55 more patients recovered from the virus.
A total of 8,722 people have succumbed to the virus in the Kingdom so far.
