DUBAI: International technology firm Avanade has opened offices in the UAE, as the company expands its global footprint.
It comes as the UAE doubles down on its efforts to attract foreign companies to set up in the Gulf country, on the back of a tightening regional competition.
“As organizations renew for the future, we want to make a positive impact in the region by helping our clients solve complex business problems,” Adriano Neves, Avanade’s regional lead, said in a release.
The company, which is a product of a joint venture between Microsoft and Accenture, provides technology and consulting services to clients across different industries including financial services, oil and gas, and citizen services.
It will work with the UAE unit of Accenture to offer its services, the statement said.
