Six deaths, 124 virus cases reported by Saudi Arabia on Monday

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia announced 124 new cases of the coronavirus and six more fatalities on Monday.

The health ministry reported 2,503 active cases of which 689 were critical.

There were 217 recoveries in the past 24 hours.

Since the start of the pandemic, there have been a total of 8,585 deaths from COVID-19 in the Kingdom and 545,367 infections.

More than 4.5 million people across the world have died as a result of COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus called SARS‑CoV‑2.
