RIYADH: The Saudi Exports signed on Monday a memorandum of cooperation with Emaar Economic City, the developer of King Abdullah Economic City, to support it in achieving the strategic goals of its "Made in Saudi" program, SPA reported.
The agreement was signed by Saudi Exports Secretary-General Faisal Al-Bedah and Ahmed Bushnaq, managing director of Emaar the Economic City.
The "Made in Saudi" program contributes to directing purchasing power toward local products and services, leading to the private sector’s contribution to the gross domestic product to 65 percent, and raising the percentage of non-oil exports in the non-oil GDP to 50 percent by 2030.
