Abu Dhabi updates ‘Green List’ countries, removes quarantine for vaccinated travelers

DUBAI: The UAE Department of Culture and Tourism issued an updated ‘Green List’ territories allowed to enter Abu Dhabi, and will be effective as of Sept. 6.

Indonesia has been added to the existing list which will now include a total of 56 countries.

The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee said at the time that all travellers must present a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours of departure.

Vaccinated travelers from the green-listed countries will be exempt from mandatory quarantine on arrival to Abu Dhabi; however, will be required to take a PCR test on arrival and another on day six, while unvaccinated travelers arriving from green-listed countries are required to take an additional test on day nine.

Vaccinated travellers arriving from destinations not on the green list must take a PCR test on arrival, and tests on days four and eight. Unvaccinated visitors from non-green list countries must take a PCR test on arrival, quarantine for 10 days and take another PCR test on day nine.

Countries on Abu Dhabi’s Green List now include: Albania, Armenia, Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Bhutan, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Comoros, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Luxembourg, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Ireland, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Ukraine.
