Grammy-winning Black Eyed Peas to perform at Egypt’s Giza Pyramids

DUBAI: The Black Eyed Peas are coming to Egypt.

The US Grammy-winning band, whose music spans hip hop to soul to pop-rap, is set to perform in the country for the first time on Oct. 2 at the Pyramids of Giza. 

Fans have taken to social media to express their excitement. 

“I swear if I don’t go see Black Eyed Peas when they come to Egypt I will lose it,” wrote one user, while another tweeted: “WOOOOOO BLACK EYED PEAS ARE COMING TO EGYPT IN OCTOBER! We ain’t a 3rd world country no more (sic).” 

The Black Eyed Peas consists of Will.I.Am, Apl.De.Ap, Taboo and J. Rey Soul.
