RIYADH: Saudi Arabia announced six deaths from COVID-19 and 234 new infections on Saturday.
Of the new cases, 67 were recorded in Riyadh, 36 in Makkah, 22 in Jazan, 21 in the Eastern Province, 14 in Madinah, 13 in Asir, 10 in Najran, seven in the Northern Borders region, six in Al-Jouf, six in Hail, six in Tabuk, and four in Al-Baha.
The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 531,733 after 409 more patients recovered from the virus.
A total of 8,526 people have succumbed to the virus in the Kingdom so far.
Over 35.7 million doses of a coronavirus vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
