We remain committed to serving the interests of the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia: Consul General

On the auspicious occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day, I would like to extend my heartiest felicitations to the Pakistani fraternity living in Saudi Arabia.
Our country’s Independence Day marks the manifestation of the valiant struggle of the Muslims of the subcontinent under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah for a separate homeland where the Muslims and other communities could live with peace, freedom, and dignity.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share some common political, socio-economic, and strategic objectives along with their strong Islamic heritage. The relationship between the two brotherly countries is unique and deep-rooted in history.
The presence of around 2.6 million vibrant Pakistanis in the Kingdom is a great source of strength for the Pakistan-Saudi friendship. The strong link between the two brotherly countries serves both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia alike with loyalty, commitment, and dedication.
Pakistan also has an emotional relationship with Saudi Arabia and its esteemed leadership, which has always reciprocated by heartily facilitating and supporting us through thick and thin.
I express my deepest gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for successfully responding to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic challenge in the Kingdom.
The provision of free medical facilities to all residents, successful implementation of precautionary measures, and friendly regime for the laborers and workers, and other socio-economic welfare measures have been excellent and exemplary for the rest of the world.
It is commendable that the COVID-19 situation in the Kingdom is very much under control because of these efforts and a very well-organized Hajj also became possible this year.
Working in Jeddah — the gateway to the holy land — is a unique and indescribable experience. I consider myself and my team especially blessed and privileged to have the honor of serving the Pakistani community and pilgrims visiting the Two Holy Mosques. The Pakistan Consulate in Jeddah has always strived to reinforce our community by providing them the best possible consular and welfare services.
Let me reiterate that the consulate shall remain committed to serving the interests of the Pakistani community and to maintain and further promote friendly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Long live Pakistan!
Long live Pakistan-Saudi Arabia Friendship!
