Saudi Arabia announces 9 more COVID-19 deaths

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia announced 9 deaths from COVID-19 and 850 new infections on Saturday.
Of the new cases, 166 were recorded in Makkah, 143 in Riyadh, 128 in the Eastern Province, 88 in Asir, 81 in Jazan, 48 in Madinah, 37 in Najran, 32 in Hail, 23 in Tabuk, 22 in Al-Baha, 17 in the Northern Borders region, and 10 in Al-Jouf.
The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 514,362 after 975 more patients recovered from the virus.
A total of 8,320 people have succumbed to the virus in the Kingdom so far.
Over 29.3 million doses of a coronavirus vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
