Luxurious antique rugs add beauty and warmth to any dwelling.
Red Rug, based in Riyadh, offers versatile hand-woven wool heirloom rugs and wall hangings from a host of countries.
The brand takes its name from the ancient red rug presented by the mythical Greek Queen Clytemnestra to her husband when he returned from war.
Red Rug includes designs such as Chobi, Kazak, Shirwan, Kargia, Turkmen and Khal Mohammadi. The famous Afghani Khal Mohammadi, made of 100 percent wool, will last a lifetime and features a striking geometrical pattern.
These rugs normally change in color, with one side having a lighter rust tone and the other a radiant rich pigment.
