AMMAN: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) implemented the fifth volunteer campaign for Syrian refugees at Zaatari Camp in Jordan with the help of 45 Saudi volunteers.
KSrelief’s medical team provided health services to 420 individuals, including 136 children.
Meanwhile, as many as 172 Syrian refugees benefited from the volunteer program on first aid. The educational program assisted 170 refugee children, while 58 women took advantage of the voluntary psychological support program.
As many as 30 individuals benefited from the women’s support and empowerment program, bringing the total number of the campaign’s beneficiaries since its launch to 850.
KSrelief seeks to attract more volunteers to take part in relief and humanitarian work, which is in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 of targeting and developing volunteer work while increasing the percentage of volunteers.
