Kenana Dahlan was recently appointed as head of Edelman Saudi Arabia. Edelman is a global public relations consultancy and is now the only international agency to have appointed a Saudi woman as the head of a regional branch.
“I look forward to leading a strong team at Edelman, which includes several young Saudi nationals who will continue to effectively communicate the Kingdom’s story,” Dahlan said.
Dahlan, who holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Ottawa, Canada, has more than a decade of experience working in strategic communications.
Her previous roles include in-house positions at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, NEOM, the Vision Realization Office, and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources among other significant development projects and experience counseling senior officials, ministers and chief executive officers.
Dahlan is an ambitious and driven professional with extensive experience in directing public relations and communications campaigns both regionally and globally. She is known as an innovative thinker with strong corporate, government and brand/issue awareness acumen.
With more than 130 successful campaigns and several high-profile projects under her belt, Dahlan has been nationally recognized for her communications campaigns, including those for Thuwal Inauguration, Invest Saudi participation in Mining Indaba, the Launch of the Line, and broadcast productions for Saudi National Day.
“I passionately believe in the incredible social and economic transformation that the Kingdom is undertaking must be effectively communicated,” Dahlan said.
