BERLIN: Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Naif met Markus Kerber, state secretary of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, in Berlin on Friday.

The prince began by wishing his German counterpart, who recently tested positive for COVID-19, a speedy recovery. The ministers then discussed ways in which cooperation and coordination between their ministries might be strengthened, in particular the enhancement of security and technical capabilities to achieve a common vision for security and stability.

The meeting took place at Prince Abdul Aziz’s residence in the German capital. Also present were the head of the Federal Police, Dieter Romann, the undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Interior, Hisham Al-Faleh, the Saudi ambassador to Germany, Essam Beit Al-Mal, and other members of the official Saudi delegation accompanying the minister.
