Saudi Arabia vows to continue its efforts to stop Israeli attacks

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia reaffirmed that it will continue its efforts at all levels to stop Israeli attacks by communicating with the active parties. 
The Kingdom also vowed to exert pressure on the Israeli government and find a just settlement for the Palestinian issue.
The announcements came during a council of ministers meeting that was chaired virtually by Saudi King Salman. The council also reviewed a number of regional and international developments and political issues.
The cabinet was briefed on talks between the Kingdom and a number of countries that were held over the past few days.
Acting Minister of Information Majid Al-Qasabi said the cabinet also expressed the Kingdom’s support for the efforts aimed at preserving the security, stability and well-being of Sudan, and its return to its natural place in the international community.
The council of ministers welcomed the results of the International Conference on Sudan in Paris, in which the Kingdom initiated a grant to contribute to covering part of the financing gap for Sudan at the International Monetary Fund.
The cabinet renewed the Kingdom’s commitment at the Paris conference to continue its leading role in promoting development and investment in the African continent, its support for international and regional efforts to lay the foundations of security, stability and conflict resolution, and the fight against extremism and terrorist groups in the Sahel and Sahara countries.
Al-Qasabi said that the ministers also discussed the local and international developments in the coronavirus pandemic and the efforts made to lower the curve of epidemiological cases in the Kingdom. He added that more than 13 million doses of the vaccine have been administered through several centers across Saudi Arabia.
