JEDDAH: The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said that no official instructions have been issued on the performance of Hajj rituals for 2021, according to an Al Arabiya statement. The ministry’s official spokesperson, Hesham Abdulmonem Saeed, said that Saudi Arabia is keen to enable Muslims around the world to perform Hajj rituals, but that authorities will prioritize pilgrim safety.
Earlier, Dr. Abdul Fattah bin Suleiman Mashat, deputy minister of Hajj and Umrah, said that the Kingdom welcomes Umrah pilgrims from both inside and outside the Kingdom, provided that they follow health requirements through the Eatmarna and Tawakalna applications.
