- The two countries enjoy strong ties
MAKKAH: Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, Saudi commerce minister and acting media minister, received Sudanese Culture and Information Minister Hamzah Baloul in Makkah on Tuesday.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the field of media. The Sudanese minister is on an official visit to the Kingdom. The visit aims to boost ties between the two brotherly countries.
Baloul arrived in Jeddah on Monday. He also performed Umrah.
The two countries enjoy strong ties. Leaders and officials from both sides regularly hold meetings to review international and regional developments and discuss ways to strengthen ties and devise strategies on issues of common interest.
Saudi Arabia supports Sudan in all fields. The Kingdom is assisting the brotherly country in its fight against the ongoing coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
