New Pakistan envoy to KSA presents credentials

RIYADH: The undersecretary for political affairs at Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mashari bin Ali bin Nahit, received on Thursday the new ambassador of Pakistan to the Kingdom, Bilal Akbar.

During the reception in Riyadh, the undersecretary received a copy of the ambassador’s credentials in preparation for presenting them to King Salman.

Nahit conveyed the wishes of Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan for success in consolidating and strengthening relations between the two countries.

Akbar replaced Raja Ali Ejaz, a career diplomat , who was Pakistan's ambassador to Riyadh since January 2019.
