RIYADH: Members of Saudi Arabia’s Shoura Council and the Bosnian parliament have discussed ways to boost economic ties and cooperation in tourism and culture.

The talks came days after Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan his Bosnia and Herzegovinian counterpart Bisera Turkovic in Riyadh for talks.

On Sunday, the Saudi-Bosnian Parliamentary Friendship Committee discussed various issues of common interest.

The chairs of the committee began the meeting by commending Saudi-Bosnian relations.

Earlier, Shoura Council member Abbas bin Ahmed Hadi hosted a meeting with  Muhamed Jusic, the ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Saudi Arabia.

They discussed the importance of continuing parliamentary visits between the two countries to further strengthen ties.
