Who’s Who: Abdulrahman Yahya Al-Jefri, senior manager of branding strategy at the Diriyah Gate Development Authority

Abdulrahman Yahya Al-Jefri has been associated with the Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) since 2020 as a senior manager of branding strategy.
He developed the Diriyah Destination marketing strategy and roadmap for 2021.
Al-Jefri’s responsibilities include developing marketing and communication strategies for DGDA initiatives and products.
He is also responsible for the finalization of the authority’s annual business plan and budgets, sub-brands’ identity and other key matters.
The DGDA was established in July 2017 to preserve and celebrate the historic site of Ad Diriyah.
The giga-project draws on the influence of 300-year-old Najdi architecture, featuring an array of world-class cultural, entertainment, retail, hospitality, educational, office and residential experiences.
Prior to the DGDA, Al-Jefri served as a senior consultant between 2017 and 2020 at Strategic Gears, one of the biggest local management consultancy firms in Saudi Arabia, offering services for the public and private sectors in strategy, marketing, operations excellence, research and analytics.
Al-Jefri has diverse experience in the private sector. He was the business development manager for three years at the International Medical Center in Jeddah, a relationship manager at the National Commercial Bank, and a distribution admin at Annahdah Medical Co.
He obtained a bachelor’s degree with honors in industrial engineering at King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah, and a master’s degree in engineering management from the Catholic University of America.
He is a certified personal financial planner from the Saudi Central Bank’s Institute of Banking.
