Saudi Arabia administers 7 million COVID-19 vaccine doses
  • The Kingdom recorded 13 COVID-19 deaths and 916 new cases
  • A total of 907 patients recovered in the past 24 hours

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s health ministry said 7 million doses of coronavirus vaccine have been administered across the Kingdom.
It added that the vaccinations were provided through more than 590 centers.
The Kingdom recorded 13 new COVID-19 related deaths on Sunday, raising the total number of fatalities to 6,823.
The Ministry of Health confirmed 916 new confirmed cases reported in the Kingdom in the previous 24 hours, meaning 404,970 people have now contracted the disease. 
Of the total number of cases, 9,445 remain active and 1,044 in critical condition.

According to the ministry, the highest number of cases were recorded in the capital Riyadh with 402, followed by Makkah with 203, the Eastern Province with 131, and Asir and Madinah confirmed 31 cases. each
The ministry also announced that 907 patients had recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 388,702.
The ministry renewed its call on the public to adhere to the measures and abide by instructions.
