RIYADH: The Arab coalition said it destroyed an explosive-laden Houthi drone targeting Khamis Mushait on Friday and a ballistic missile fired toward Jazan.

Attempts by the Houthi militia to target civilians are considered war crimes, the coalition said.

It added that it is taking “appropriate operational measures to protect civilians in accordance with international law.”

The UAE said the continuation of these terrorist attacks by the Houthi group reflects its blatant challenge to the international community and disregard for all international laws.

Jordan denounced actions that target civilians and said the attacks were a flagrant violation of international law and aim to destabilize security and stability.

Bahrain said it stands in solidarity with the Kingdom in all the measures it takes to preserve the safety of its citizens.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab Parliament also condemned the Iran-backed Houthi militia’s actions against the Kingdom.
