Graduates with diplomas are included in an on-the-job training program, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The Saudi Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) said the Tamheer program would include those with diplomas from institutes and technical, health and administration colleges.
This new addition to Tamheer is a result of the program’s success in giving trainees the skills and experiences needed for the job market, as well as the program’s contribution to increasing the employment rates of trainees. SPA Riyadh
The previous phase of the program included graduates from Saudi universities and those studying abroad with a bachelor’s degree or above. It was aimed at providing them with the expertise and skills required for the labor market through practical training on work sites according to the graduates’ specialisms.
The program offers a stipend of SR2,000 ($520), which will be transferred to trainees holding a diploma or degree from technical, health or management institutes, and a stipend of SR3,000 for holders of bachelor’s degrees and above.
Trainees will also receive an experience certificate upon completion of training that will improve their chances in the job market. The training period lasts between three and six months.
Those interested in the program should register through the National Labor Portal at taqat.sa and select the Tamheer icon.
