Saudi Extra posts record profit in 2020

• Electronics company’s profit jumps 36 percent to over SR 280 million

RIYADH: The Saudi United Electronics Co. (Extra) announced on Monday its financial results for 2020, with a 36 percent growth in profit, in a statement on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
The company achieved a net profit of SR280.1 million ($74.68 million), the highest in its history, from SR205.6 million the previous year.
Sales increased by 16.1 percent to reach SR5.962 billion, attributed to sales increases across all the year’s quarters through Extra’s stores and its e-commerce sector.
