DUBAI: The Jeddah-based Saudi Japanese Automobile High Institute (SJAHI) is hosting an energy efficiency symposium on Tuesday.
The event aims to train local youth in becoming future experts in the field of energy efficiency in the automotive sector, which is an important policy agenda for Saudi Arabia.
It will be held in cooperation with several Japanese entities, including the country’s Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry and the Federation of Japan Automobile Manufacturers.
Both Japan and Saudi Arabia have been collaboratively working in many areas of energy efficiency in previous years.
SJAHI provides technical training for Saudi high school graduates who are keen to pursue a career in automobile technology and maintenance.
