Dr. Eman Al-Shammari has been a marketing adviser at the investment fund of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) since January.
She is also a marketing consultant at the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monshaat), where she guides SMEs business entrepreneurs in creating marketing plans, strategies and research.
Al-Shammari also provides advice on all marketing-related issues, helping beneficiaries to turn ideas into business opportunities.
Al-Shammari received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from King Saud University (KSU) in 2010. In 2012, she received an English language diploma from the University of Arizona, US. In 2014, she obtained a master’s degree in business administration from Shenandoah University, US.
Four years later, she was awarded a Ph.D. in marketing studies from Swansea University, UK. Her thesis was titled: “Factors Affecting Consumer Purchase Intention toward Foreign Products in an Emergent Market.”
From 2010 to 2014, she worked as an assistant teacher at the IMSIU’s College of Economics and Administrative Sciences (CEAS).
From 2015, Al-Shammari became a lecturer at the same college. She remained there for more than four years before joining the university’s executive committee for development and quality.
She has also been an academic supervisor of cooperative training at CEAS since 2018. Nearly 18 months later, she became an assistant professor at the same college, of which she became the vice dean in 2020, focusing on educational affairs.
