  • The valley is the perfect place for an escape from a big city, especially for people who want to disconnect from their phones and bustling lives

One of the most beautiful valleys in Saudi Arabia stretches across the north of the governorate of Mahayil Asir in Bareq, called Wadi Al-Bardani.
The valley offers a lush green landscape astride a flowing river, bordered by great mountainous formations surrounded by agricultural lands.
The name Al-Bardani means “land that has shade” in Arabic, and it is not hard to understand how this sheltered place earned its title.
During the daytime, shepherds can be spotted as they lead their herds to the greens on the mountains around the two towns of Bin Otayfa and Al-Asrat, located in Wadi Al-Bardani.
The valley is the perfect place for an escape from a big city, especially for people who want to disconnect from their phones and bustling lives.
