LONDON: Saudi Arabia’s National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) has signed a partnership with a UN agency to launch a program to create a safe cyberspace for children around the world.
The partnership with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is part of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s initiative for “Safe Children in the Cyber World.”

The program will promote global dialogue and discussions on protecting children in cyberspace, build cyber capacities to protect children and support countries in the development of policies that serve to protect children in cyberspace.
The program’s main contents will be made available in over 20 different languages and over 50 training courses will be provided, the NCA said.
“The global program for creating a safe and prosperous cyberspace for children aims to build capacities and knowledge for children around the globe that reinforces their ability to face cyber challenges,” the authority said.
