AL-BAYDA: The Emergency Center for Epidemic Disease Control in Yemen’s Hajjah governorate continues to provide treatment services with the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).

In one week, the clinics’ registration and screening department received 772 patients, the observations department received 21, the inpatient clinic 19, the epidemic department 772, the awareness and education department 623, and the medical referral department 42. Medicines were dispensed to 795 patients.

Meanwhile, modern medical equipment provided by KSrelief has arrived at Al-Ghaylah Hospital in Yemen’s Al-Bayda governorate.

Fayez Al-Wehaishi, director general of the office of the Health Ministry in Al-Bayda, said the medical devices include a complete blood count (CBC) test device, a modern digital microscope, a centrifuge, an automated chemistry analyzer, a laboratory refrigerator, a power generator, wheelchairs and fixed chairs.

He expressed his appreciation for KSrelief’s support, saying the modern medical devices are a qualitative leap in the hospital’s services and will contribute significantly to alleviating patients’ suffering.

This delivery is part of the humanitarian and relief aid provided by Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to the people of Yemen.

Meanwhile, KSrelief continues to distribute winter clothing to the needy in Lebanon. The center distributed 2,258 blankets and 1,129 winter bags to Syrian and Palestinian refugees as well as host communities in Beit El-Faqs, Danniyeh and Tripoli in Lebanon, benefiting 5,645 individuals.

Moreover, KSrelief distributed more than 250 winter bags in Shangla, Pakistan, benefiting 1,524 people.
