What We Are Eating Today: Gram: A grab-and-go outlet

Gram is a Saudi brand offering an authentic but more urban take on Turkish street food dishes, known as shawarma.
Instead of using traditional saj bread with shawarma, Gram has brought two cultures together and added a European twist by replacing the flat saj bread with a richer, fluffy brioche sandwich bread.
Located in Jeddah’s Red Sea Mall, its grab-and-go restaurant also serves a selection of mixes and spices added to the layers of beef and chicken in its spinning spit griller.
The refreshing signature sandwich of honey beef shawarma combines a spiral taste of sweet and salty inspired by Saudi Arabian culture. There is also a range of shawarma salads and exotic mojito flavors, which go well with a traditional Turkish ayran yogurt-based beverage.
For larger gatherings, Gram offers a box containing 12 sandwiches of the customer’s choice, along with three different dips. Deliveries are available via food apps. For more information visit Instagram @gram.saudia
