RIYADH: Border Guards in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province rescued an Egyptian national from drowning on Friday at Sadaf Beach in Khobar, Saudi Press Agency reported,
The media spokesperson for the region’s Border Guards, Lt. Col. Omar bin Mohammed Al-Aklabi, said that during their routine patrol, search and rescue teams spotted a person drowning, and immediately rescued him.
Lt. Col. Al-Aklabi said the man was given first aid, and was then transferred by ambulance to the King Fahd Medical Complex in Dhahran, adding that he is health condition is stable. 
The media spokesperson called on all beach goers and swimmers to take caution and be careful, follow the marine safety instructions and signs displayed on the beaches, and only swim in designated areas.
