DUBAI: Google has featured the UAE flag as an animated doodle on Wednesday, in celebration of the Gulf country’s National Day.
The waving flag doodle, only visible for users in the UAE, marked the union of the seven emirates – Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ajman, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain, Sharjah and Ras Al-Khaimah.
The UAE is celebrating its 49th National Day with a five-day holiday, where residents can enjoy numerous events scattered across the country including firework displays and cultural performances.
