DUBAI: The UAE on Friday recorded 1,269 new coronavirus cases and three deaths.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention said the total number of cases since the pandemic began has reached 156,523, with the death toll now 547.
The ministry added that 840 people recovered over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 147,309.
Elsewhere, Kuwait recorded 486 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 139,308. The death toll reached 861 after two new fatalities were registered.

In Bahrain, one death was reported, bringing the death toll to 338, while 150 new infected cases were confirmed.
Out of 9486 COVID-19 tests carried out on 20 November 2020, 150 new cases have been detected among 51 expatriate workers, 87 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 12 are travel related. There were 172 recoveries from #COVID19, increasing total recoveries to 83416 pic.twitter.com/1WVDU9dCZP
