Saudi FM: G20 summit comes in exceptional circumstances due to COVID-19

Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud praised Saudi Arabia’s efforts to host the G20 Summit amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Kingdom, under its chairmanship of the G20, faced the challenges with determination and competence, the minister said, adding that the pandemic had hindered many activities in various fields.

“We seek cooperation with partners to implement solutions facing the coronavirus pandemic,” he said.

Saudi Arabia, according to the minister, had placed the protection of lives and the economy at the top of its priorities in facing the pandemic.
