RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Cabinet approved a memorandum of understanding between the Saudi Food and Drug Authority and the Iraqi Ministry of Health to boost cooperation in the field of pharmaceuticals, medical equipment and supplies.
The Cabinet also condemned attacks on the Kingdom by Iran-backed Houthis from Yemen, as well as the recent terrorist attacks at a cemetery in Jeddah, and at the Embassy of the Kingdom in the Netherlands.
During the Cabinet meeting, ministers congratulated King Salman on the sixth anniversary of his assumption of power, and praised the king for the development and growth of the Kingdom during his prosperous reign.
At the beginning of the session, which was held virtually, King Salman expressed his sincere condolences to Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, and to the Bahraini people, on the death of Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa.
King Salman also discussed the phone call he held with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, during which they discussed bilateral ties between both countries.
