Saleh Al-Nazha was recently appointed as a member of the Saudi Shoura Council by royal decree.

King Salman appointed 150 members to the council for a period of four years and named Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Asheikh as the consultative assembly’s head.

Since 2015, Al-Nazha has been the chairman and managing director of Badael Al-Bena Co. Ltd., which manufactures new construction materials to improve the quality and cost of buildings.

Previously, he has held senior positions at other large companies including as CEO of industrial and petrochemical firm National Industrialization Co. (Tasnee), and general manager of operation and maintenance at Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC).

As an industrial leader, he has been involved in the operation, building, and management of megaprojects in Saudi Arabia, mainly in the petrochemical business with SABIC, and local as well as international joint ventures.

During his career, Al-Nazha has served as the chairman and a board member of numerous businesses, including in many of Tasnee’s joint ventures and companies.

He held the position of board member at Hail Cement Co. and participated in the development of its internal procedures. He was elected by petroleum refineries firm Petro Rabigh’s board of directors to chair its marketing steering committee and is still a member of the executive committee. Jadwa Investment appointed him as a board member on one of its affiliates, Global Environmental Management Services.

Al-Nazha said: “Growth is a never-ending process and there is no limit to what we can do if we put our mind to it.”

He gained a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from King Saud University in Riyadh.
