On what it has been like working the frontlines during COVID-19:
Working with COVID-19 patients daily was very difficult at first, especially given that I feared contracting the infection, which was adding a lot of stress. I was also scared of spreading it to my family given my line of duty and exposure to so many patients in a day. With time I realized that being afraid and stressed will not help me do my job correctly. I also realized that helping sick patients that need our services to diagnose and treat them well is overwhelming and is the greatest feeling ever.
