JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia’s daily coronavirus case numbers have fallen to a five-month low after 551 new cases were reported on Saturday.
The last time the Kingdom recorded numbers in the 500s was April 15, when 518 cases were reported.
Total confirmed cases in the Kingdom have reached 329,271.
There are 15,383 active cases in the Kingdom, 1,166 of which are in critical care units.
Of the cases, 58 percent are male and 42 percent female. In terms of age, 85 percent of Saturday’s cases are adults, 11 percent are children and 4 percent adults older than 65.

As the Kingdom continues to contain the threat of the coronavirus, 43,032 new polymerase chain reaction tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of tests conducted in the Kingdom to over 6 million.
