BAGHDAD: A missile fell in the vicinity of the Green Zone in central Baghdad on Thursday evening, Iraqi media reports said.
Sources said there were no casualties after the Katyusha rocket landed inside the Green Zone perimeter.
Like previous Green Zone attacks this year there has been no claim of responsibility.
Since October, more than 30 attacks have targeted American interests in Iraq that the US has blamed on Iran-backed factions among Iraq’s security forces.
The frequency of attacks against US interests in Iraq increased after the killing of Iranian commander Qassem Soleimani in a US air strike in Baghdad in January.
