Nadhmi Al-Nasr, chief executive officer of NEOM, on Monday called on Tabuk Gov. Prince Fahd bin Sultan. During the meeting, the governor said the NEOM project is the focus of the entire world. He said the project will boost the pace of development in the Kingdom.
It will help strengthen the country’s economy, Prince Fahd said.
NEOM will include towns and cities, ports and enterprise zones, research centers, sports and entertainment venues, and tourist destinations. It will be the home and workplace for more than a million citizens from around the world.
Al-Nasr thanked the Tabuk governor for extending support to the project since its launch.
Backed by the Kingdom’s Public Investment Fund, NEOM will operate as an independent economic zone powered solely by regenerative energy, spanning three countries, complete with its self-governing laws and regulations and all strategically designed for economic stimulation.
Currently being developed in Tabuk, the northwest corner of Saudi Arabia that intersects Egypt and Jordan, NEOM is a pillar of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
