DUBAI: The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) will offer help to those who lost family members in the deadly Beirut blast, state news agency WAM has reported.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, chairman of ERC and a representative of the UAE’s Al-Dhafra region, has instructed the organization to provide basic needs and support for home restoration for these families.
The ERC has been working closely with the UAE Embassy in Beirut to facilitate the aid.
The initiative is part of ongoing relief operations provided by the UAE to support Lebanon as it tries to recover from the disaster.
