RIYADH: The Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP) has invited the public and private entities and individuals to express their views on a draft regulation for licensing the intellectual property business.
The new regulation will enable entities to present intellectual property cases before the authority on behalf of their clients.
The SAIP aims to regulate, support, develop and protect the field of intellectual property in the Kingdom.
Interested entities or individuals can share their suggestions through the authority’s email saip@saip.gov.sa. The last date for submission is Aug. 23. Senders should clearly write their names and the name of their institutions.
Through this project, the authority seeks to increase the number of qualified intellectual property agents, and to supervise these agents and support them.
