In a centuries old tradition, the Kaaba's Kiswa dons a new cover on the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah of every year. Measuring over 650 square meters long silk cloth embellished with over 200kg of gold and silver thread, the Kiswa's change is celebrated yearly as millions of Muslims bear witness to it before the upcoming Eid Al-Adha.
