RIYADH: An Iraqi delegation headed by the deputy prime minister and the oil minister arrived in Saudi Arabia on an official visit Sunday, Saudi press Agency reported.
The delegation was received at King Khaled International Airport by the Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, who led the Kingdom's delegation to a Saudi-Iraqi Coordination Committee meeting in Baghdad last year.
The Iraqi delegation in Riyadh on Sunday was led by Ali Abdel Amir Allawi, the deputy prime minister.
The visit comes within the framework of the coordination committee meetings, which aim to enhance strategic communication between the two countries.
