RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has recorded an additional 49 deaths and 3,392 new COVID-19 infections, the health ministry said on Tuesday.
The new figures bring the official total in the Kingdom to 217,108 infections and 2,017 deaths.
The health ministry said 5,205 have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 154,839.
The highest of the new cases were recorded in Riyadh, with 308 infections. Qatif came in second, with 246 cases reported.
