Governor of Saudi Arabia's Qassim province launches anti-smoking program

QASSIM: Qassim Gov. Prince Faisal bin Mishaal on Tuesday launched an anti-smoking program and reviewed details about the project.
Members of the anti-smoking association and other officials were also present at the launch of the project costing SR4 million ($1.06 million).
The governor also launched the Qassim Technical Association. In the first phase, the association will provide training to 650 participants.
Prince Faisal stressed the need to boost the technical skills of the people in the region.
He said these efforts will help provide national talent to different organizations in the public and private sectors. The Qassim governor urged all those who are interested in acquiring new skills or hone existing skills to join the association and contribute to the development of the Kingdom.
In a separate event, the governor honored the region’s security department for its performance during the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
