Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) is extending aid to countries across the Middle East. The aid, constituting contributions of money and foodstuffs is part of SADAFCO’s strategy to support COVID-19 relief efforts in the wake of devastating economic impact of the virus.
SADAFCO recently committed SR10 million ($2.66 million) in support of the Saudi Ministry of Health’s Health Endowment Fund. The company’s support to relief efforts across the Middle East includes 100,000 Jordanian dinars ($141,045) worth of food products to organizations in Jordan, SR1 million worth of direct funds and food products in Bahrain, and SR1 million worth of food products in Kuwait.
Wout Matthijs, CEO of SADAFCO, said: Our objective is to work with and provide support to organizations that are able to identify and reach out to those most in need and to assist organizations and government funds that support the health heroes to fight this pandemic.”
