DUBAI: Water sports competitions will resume in Dubai after new safety measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 were announced.
Events will be approved by Dubai’s Sports Council, state news agency WAM reported on Wednesday.
New regulations state that competitors below the 12 and above 60 years and those with chronic illnesses will not be allowed to participate.
Everyone involved in the event have to wear masks, and organizers have to provide sanitizers and disinfect the area before and after the competition.
