A new crop of talent is changing the game and artfully rewriting the Arab narrative behind the camera one striking image at a time.

  • Hayat Osama

    This self-taught Saudi photographer has gained prominence for her raw photographs that document Saudi Arabian youth culture.

  • Mous Lamrabat

    The Moroccan-born Belgian-raised artist frequently goes viral for his striking portraits of veiled subjects that beautifully fuse his Moroccan heritage and his Western upbringing. 

  • Cheb Moha

    The pseudonymous Iraqi-Canadian photographer, stylist and designer has lensed campaigns for the likes of Nike, Gucci and Carhartt WIP in addition to shooting magazine covers for GQ Middle East. 

  • Ali Al-Shehabi

    Based in the UAE, the Bahraini photographer utilizes 35mm film to artfully capture Arab culture. He first pursued photography in 2016 when he was left incapacitated after an accident.

    The Moroccan-born shutterbug and author released her first photo book “Perspective,” which consists of 60 photographs of subjects in France, Morocco, The UAE and more.
